How information about you will be used

The company collects information about you. This is to inform you of product costs, new product launches and services (including training classes).

Sharing information

Your name, address, email address, phone number and pet information

Used internally by staff. We have a legitimate interest to contact you about specific information relating to your pet/animal in our care/undertaking our training, and in order to provide our services regarding promotions, prices, new products or marketing promotions/research requests.

Our legitimate interest is up to 10 years (unless details are requested to be deleted from our database during this time).

Credit/debit card details

Used internally by staff, if you pay for a product or professional service by telephone. We have a contractual obligation to enable you to pay for the product and professional services provided.

If you save your credit or debit card details in your ‘My Account’ page on the website, they remain private to you. 

Referral of cases to specialist service providers

Used internally by staff and externally by behaviourists and trainers.

Our legitimate interest is to ensure animal consultations are processed to the appropriate provider and legal cases are referred.

We keep client details on our system for up to 10 years (unless otherwise informed to be removed from our system.)

 

We have IT support companies ‘Technology Management (Midlands) Ltd’ and ‘Singlerapid Ltd’ who may from time to time help us with IT queries and in turn may have access to information pertaining to you. The legal basis for processing this information is a legitimate interest is to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT facilities.

The Supervisory authority in the UK & NI is the ICO. Where you have a complaint regarding the handling of your data which you do not think can be handled internally, then you have the right to make a complaint to the ICO.
