Company of Animals announces Paul Nolan as its new CEO

Company of Animals is excited to announce the appointment of Paul Nolan as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the company, effective from January 2019.

This follows the recent announcement that current CEO Dr Roger Mugford, will be stepping down to grow his new venture Animal insights Limited. Mugford will continue to provide the brand with a wealth of expertise through his role as Founder.

Paul joined Company of Animals in 2011 to head up its operations team. As Operations Director, Paul revolutionised the supply chain, making Company of Animals products more accessible to its global customer base.

Commenting on his recent appointment, Paul said: “The future is incredibly bright for Company of Animals and I am very excited to continue to build on the legacy Dr Mugford has built over the last 40 years. We have just completed a large piece of research to better understand our markets, which has been distilled into our new branding and will hit the shelves in spring.

“We hope that our new look and feel will resonate with our customers and help them understand that we are committed to becoming a global leader within the pet behaviour sector. We have always been a brand that goes above and beyond the status quo and we look forward to continuing this journey with our customers around the world.”

In 2017 Paul took on the role of CEO for the company’s US division and led his team through the next phase of its developments. Paul will continue to oversee the American division of the company whilst in his new role of CEO to the entire business.

Paul went on to say: “We truly believe that owning a pet enhances its owners wellbeing and it’s our ambition to solve the most common pet-ownership challenges with simple products and advice. We are purpose driven and with our on-site Animal Behaviour Centre and team of trainers, we are uniquely in-tune with ever-changing challenges of pet ownership.”
